Recently my dad had an accident, fortunately it was not serious. My dad has been in hospital for two weeks and today he is discharged form hospital. I came to take him home. On the way home, we talked about something about the accident. I was always thinking how could my dad have a car accident? He drove very carefully and never drinks when driving. My dad said he also didn’t know something was wrong. He just felt very tired, couldn’t concentrate and without notice his car crushed into the trees beside the road. Fortunately there is no passer-by.
I also don’t where the problem was. As I am driving, the sun rose and I put on the sunglasses in the car to see clearly. After ten minutes I feel not good—I can’t see clearly. So I take them of and put on my own sunglasses. When we arrive home, I begin to check the sunglasses in the car. I found its lenses are damaged. I go to Google immediately. Quickly I know why my dad had an accident—it’s all because of this damaged resin lenses!
It is said that the high temperature can make the resin lenses distort and blur. People who put this kind of glasses for a long time when driving can hardly concentrate and feel tired easily. Especially for the person who is hyperopic o astigmatism. My dad is hyperopic and my dad’s car is always parking outdoors. So the hot sun in the summer must have turned the temperature in car very high. What’s worse, my dad always put this pair of sunglasses in the car because in other occasion he doesn’t need sunglasses.
After understanding the problem, I go to tell dad. Dad says:” I will never leave the sunglasses in the high temperature! Oh, poor this pair of sunglasses, it nearly took my life—it is the murderer! Thanks my son, you’ve done a good job. Oh, I must tell Henry, he also does this like me. God bless him; hope he is not in hospital now.”
This accident now can totally come to the end. Anyway, be careful life is priceless.
